The Austin Triathlon

Despite being exhausted from shooting at Camp Eagle, I made it out to The Austin Triathlon for a short time on Labor Day...I didn't take too many photos, but I managed to catch the leaders cycling and running.

Brandon Marsh, the men's pro winner, has a commanding lead during the bike leg of the Austin Triathlon.

The next racer to reach the capital was Todd Gerlach, who fell to 7th later in the race.

I changed positions from the Congress Ave. to a feed station on Cesar Chavez and captured another image of Brandon Marsh.

Michelle Leblanc placed second overall, finishing in 2:09:49.2.

Kelly Handel, the female pro winner, exits a feed station. Most of the water ended up on her head rather than in her mouth.

A feed station at Jack and Adams Bicycles. Wet sponges and live music seemed to be as welcome as cups of water.
